First aid will be located in the first aid room of the centre. You can follow signs first aid from both the event centre and transition.

As this event is March rather than January of last year we hope that dehydration or freezing if it is cold,will be a lot better, in both cases cover up and drink heaps it’s a long event look after yourselves.

Checkpoints and Recovery Stations
There will be marshals out on the course all day. If a rider is injured they should proceed or get a message to the nearest marshal. The marshal radio in to the race director who will organise recovery and advise the team members or solo rider helper of the situation. An injured rider on the track should let passing riders know their number, so that it will be easier to find the riders team.

A recovery vehicle will collect the rider and their bike from the point of the track once they have been informed if a first aid vehicle is needed it will be dispatched and diversions put in place to continue the race,

The recovery station will be manned by St Johns and will be located close to the transition area.
